Service Change - Sunday 14th July 2024

From Sunday 14th July 2024, we will be making changes to many of our services. 

Service 5

Revised route and
timetable.  On departure from Motherwell
Asda, buses will now operate via West Hamilton Street and Motherwell Station
instead of Menteith Road.

On Mondays to Fridays, a new
earlier morning journey is introduced in each direction, and the last two
evening journeys from Bellshill will now extend to Motherwell instead of
terminating at New Stevenston.

Revised Saturday timetable
introduced.

Service 13

Revised timetable introduced
on all days – some early morning journeys are curtailed or retimed.  On Sundays, buses will operate direct via
Strathaven Road and Carscallan Road, no longer serving Eddlewood Parksview.

Service 41

Revised timetable with an
earlier morning and later evening journey introduced on Mondays to
Saturdays.  A NEW Sunday service will be
introduced for the first time with buses operating every hour during the main
day.   

Service 42/42A

A revised timetable is
introduced with an improved early evening service for Wishaw General and
Monklands Hospital on Mondays to Fridays. 
Service 42A will now operate on Monday to Saturday evenings and all day
on Sundays, replacing the 211, which will be withdrawn.

Service 211

This service will be withdrawn
but replaced by new journeys on Service 42A.

Service 227

A revised Sunday timetable is
introduced.

Service 228

A revised Sunday timetable is
introduced.

Service 230

A revised Saturday morning
timetable is introduced with some journeys no longer operating.

Service 244

This service will no longer be
operated by JMB Travel – please refer to the SPT website for details of the
replacement service. 

No changes to
the following services: 14, 19A, 31B, 46, 93, 193, 210, 226, 251, 399
