Service 42 Diverison - Calderbank [Monday 6th July - Friday 10th July 2026]

From Monday 6th July until Friday 10th July, Service 42 will be unable to serve Calderbank at certain times of the day due to a road closure.  

Buses will divert via Chapelhall and Brownsburn Road between Lancaster Avenue and Calderbank Road.  Some early morning buses and late evening buses will continue to serve Calderbank by diverting to and from Brownsburn Road.  

During the day, we will be operating an extra bus on the 42 which will operate up to every 30-minutes between Calderbank and Airdrie Town Centre, where customers can connect on to other buses.  This bus will follow the normal route of the 42 via Cairnhill.
