Service 42 – Revised Route & Timetable from Monday 4th March 2024

From Monday 4th
March 2024, Service 42 will be extended to operate between Coatbridge Town
Centre and Wishaw General Hospital via Monklands Hospital, Airdrie, Cairnhill,
Calderbank, Holytown, New Stevenston, Motherwell and Craigneuk.  In Calderbank, the service will operate via
Park Road, Woodside Drive, Woodhall Avenue and Crowwood Road in both
directions. 

Operating up to every hour
during the day, the service will create new direct links from the Monklands
area to New Lanarkshire College and Wishaw General Hospital, as well as quicker
links to and from Motherwell.    

On Saturdays, the service will
operate hourly during the day as a 42A between Airdrie Town Centre and
Motherwell Asda using the same route as the 42 except in the Calderbank area
where the route will be direct via Main Street in both directions.

In the evenings and all day on
a Sunday, Service 211 will continue to operate to the current route and
timetable.

With the introduction of these
improvements JMB Travel will now be providing a service from early morning to
late evening between Airdrie and Motherwell on ALL days of the week.
