Changes to Glasgow Fast X1 from Monday 28th April 2025

From Monday 28th April, we will be enhancing the frequency of the Glasgow Fast X1 at busy times to provide more choice to commuters, and extra capacity.  

After feedback, we will be adjusting the time of the first morning journey from Hamilton to arrive into Glasgow City Centre earlier to assist morning commuters. 

A new earlier morning return trip will be introduced on Saturday mornings. 

On Mondays to Saturdays, we will also introduce a new later return trip to/from Glasgow. 

There will also be a route change within Hillhouse - Clarkwell Road, Wellcroft Road and Fleming Way will no longer be served - buses will instead operate from Farm Road via Hillhouse Road to Brankholm Brae in both directions.  If Brankholm Brae is unavailable to buses, we will operate Hillhouse Road - Fleming Way and Townhill Road in both directions.  

The new timetable leaflet is now available from your driver on our Glasgow Fast buses.
