£2 Single Ticket Fare Cap
Today
GOOD NEWS for customers who normally purchase single tickets on the bus to make their journey...
JMB Travel will be joining the Scottish Governement voluntary scheme which will see single ticket prices capped at a maximum £2 no matter how far you are travelling on the same bus.
The £2 ticket will apply to all of our routes serving Lanarkshire, as well as our Glasgow Fast Services for travel to and from Glasgow City Centre.
From Monday, when you board the bus, please ask for a single ticket and state your destination as normal, and our driver will charge you the new £2 capped fare.
If you travel regularly on more than two of our buses on the same day, you can still purchase Day, Week, and 4-Week tickets for discounted travel, and these may still work out more cost effective than buying a £2 ticket for each individual journey. The Day and Week tickets are available from your driver on the bus, or on the MyTrip app. 4-Week tickets and bundles of 10-Day Tickets for travel to and from Glasgow are only available to purchase on the app.
We hope this new scheme being introduced with Scottish Governement support will lead to more people leaving the car at home and using the bus instead.
